To factory reset, power on the scanner, then scan the 'Factory Reset' barcode found in your user manual. Alternatively, for some models, press and hold the scan and power buttons simultaneously until you hear 3 beeps, then release.
Scan the 'iOS Application Mode' barcode to set the scanner profile. Then, go to your iOS Settings > Bluetooth and select the scanner. This mode is required for apps using the Socket Mobile SDK.
Socket Mobile recommends using a dedicated wall charger. Computer USB ports often do not provide sufficient amperage (1A minimum recommended) to charge the scanner battery effectively.
