Adım 6: Pull weight adjustmentTRIGGERTECH-T-Series-Diamond-Trigger-FIG- (6)Your TriggerTech trigger is set near the middle of the advertised pull weight range and can be adjusted in increments. To adjust pull weight, insert the supplied 5/64” Allen wrench into the set screw located at the bottom of your trigger. To increase pull weight, rotate the set screw clockwise. Pull weight varies between actions.

UYARI: Tetiğinizi fabrika ayarında veya üzerinde çalıştırmanız önerilir. Çekme ağırlığınızı ayarlarken dikkatli olun ve canlı mühimmat kullanmadan önce 5. Adımı tekrarlayın.

NOT: Always keep the set screw engaged with at least three “Clicks” to prevent the set screw from falling out.

Çekme ağırlığı ayar uyarısı

The TriggerTech Tikka trigger has an adjustable pull weight. The factory setting is near the middle of the advertised range (caution – pull weights may vary dramatically from the factory setting due to variability found in actions). There is such a thing as a trigger that is too light to be considered safe. This weight will change depending on the specifics of the gun, the experience of the shooter, and the intended use case (how the gun and all of its components are operated/handled).

TriggerTech strongly recommends that you get some trigger time on your TriggerTech trigger before adjusting the break weight below the factory setting (a trigger set at 4.0 lbs is safer than a trigger set at 2.5 lbs). As you reduce the pull weight of a TriggerTech trigger, you are reducing the amount of spring tension in the trigger, and it is possible that you may reach a point where the trigger in a specific gun is not safe for the intended use case and/or the shooter.

Your trigger’s pull weight may change slightly over the trigger’s lifetime as the parts wear in. Any change should be gradual and not in excess of 6 oz or 15% (whichever is less). A change in excess of this range, or any sudden change, is a sign that something is not right, and your firearm may not be safe. Stop using your trigger and contact TriggerTech Support (support@triggertech.com) at 1-888-795-1485. TriggerTech recommends that you check your pull weight prior to use to ensure it is set at an appropriate level.

See TriggerTech Bolt Action Pull Weight Guide. To ensure safety, never chamber a round until the rifle is safely pointed at a target and you are ready to fire. Shooters are reminded to always follow the NRA Gun Safety Rules.

Bakım / Temizlik

Your TriggerTech trigger is designed to operate maintenance- and lubricant-free. It is recommended that you minimize the amount of oil and gun cleaning products that get in contact with the trigger.
Tetiğinizin kirlenme nedeniyle düzgün çalışmadığını düşünüyorsanız, aşağıdaki adımları izlemenizi öneririz:

  1. Ateşli silahınızın boş olduğundan emin olun.
  2. Cycle the action and dry fire the rifle repeatedly. If necessary, try holding the rifle in different orientations while doing this.
  3. If step 2 is unsuccessful, remove your TriggerTech trigger from the action, and you can try to clean with compressed air and/or a grease-cutting agent that does not leave residue. We recommend lighter fluid, letting it dry, and blowing out the trigger with compressed air. Follow the TriggerTech Installation Instructions when reinstalling your trigger.
  4. 3. adım başarısız olursa, tetik yuvanızı açmanızı ÖNERMİYORUZ ve TriggerTech ile iletişime geçerek tetiğinizin bakımını yaptırmanızı öneririz. Not: "Çıkarıldığında geçersiz" seçeneğinin kırılması, tetiğinizi açtığınız anlamına gelir ve Sınırlı Garanti'yi geçersiz kılabilir.

Setup & Use Quick Guide

  1. boşaltmak the firearm and remove all ammunition and magazines.
  2. Remove the bolt (press the bolt release while sliding the bolt aft-ward).
  3. Remove the stock from the action using the appropriate Torx driver (typically T25). Note the size and location of each bolt for reassembly.
  4. Remove the existing trigger: Unscrew the trigger bolt (typically Altıgen 5) and remove the trigger (with trigger safety on).
  5. Install the TriggerTech trigger: Insert the TriggerTech trigger assembly into the action with the trigger safety on. Use the same factory trigger bolt and tighten to 55–65 in-lbs.
  6. Reinstall stock and bolt: Re-install the stock using the same screws. Insert the bolt and verify bolt-release functionality: the bolt should be removable only while the bolt release is being pressed.
  7. Pre-use safety/function tests (no ammunition): Verify safety lock behavior, firing-pin behavior in FIRE vs SAFE positions, and that the firing pin does/does not release according to the listed test steps.
  8. Adjust pull weight (if needed): Sağlanan 5/64 Allen wrench into the set screw at the bottom of the trigger. Rotate clockwise to arttırmak pull weight. Keep the set screw engaged with at least three clicks to prevent it from falling out. Repeat the safety/function tests in Step 5 prior to using live ammunition.

Damaging your trigger

We have gone to great lengths to design the most reliable and dependable triggers on the market and we are constantly striving to improve the safety and performance of all TriggerTech products. However, TriggerTech triggers are precision mechanical devices, and they can be damaged. A damaged trigger could be or become unsafe.
The following are conditions that may damage your trigger:

  • Pierced Primer / Overpressure – the dynamic forces of the event may damage your trigger and prevent it from functioning safely.
  • Untimed Action Damage – when you close the bolt with an untimed action, you are hammering your trigger sear with the cocking piece. This can cause accelerated and unusual wear on your trigger and cocking piece. Excessive wear caused by an untimed action may cause your firearm to become unsafe as you can damage and /or break the cocking piece and/or trigger components. This is especially true with aggressive or repetitive dry cycling of your action. Cycling an untimed action without ammunition is more severe from a wear perspective than cycling with ammunition, as moving ammunition will slow the bolt. TriggerTech recommends that you ensure your action is properly timed prior to use.
  • Damaging your trigger when installing trigger pins during install – if you do not follow Step 4, you may damage the trigger by attempting to hammer a trigger pin through a trigger pin hole that is not aligned with the action mounting hole. Damage severity can range from cosmetic damage to the housing to catastrophic

Damaging your trigger (continued)

damage where the trigger will no longer be able to be mounted to the action or function safely. It is possible to cause the trigger to fall out of factory alignment and in this case may cause degradation of the trigger’s safety and/or performance.
Shooters are reminded:

  • Your trigger’s pull weight should not change suddenly. A sudden change in pull weight is a sign that something is not right, and your firearm may not be safe. Stop using your trigger and contact TriggerTech Support (support@triggertech.com) at 1-888-795-1485.
  • Your trigger’s pull weight may change slightly over the trigger’s lifetime as the parts wear in. Any change should be gradual and not in excess of 6oz or 15% (whichever is less). A change in excess of this is a sign that something is not right, and your firearm may not be safe. Stop using your trigger and contact TriggerTech Support (support@triggertech.com) 1-888-795-1485.
  • If you notice a change in your trigger’s ability to hold the firing pin when closing the bolt, do not try to overcome this by increasing pull weight. Stop using the trigger immediately and contact TriggerTech Support (support@triggertech.com) at 1-888-795-1485.
  • Always safety check your equipment prior to use and when using live ammunition.
  • Always follow the NRA Gun Safety Rules. (https://gunsafetyrules.nra.org)

Sorun giderme

  • Bolt-release / safety not correct: If, with the safety in the SAFE position, the bolt handle is not locked or can be lifted, stop and re-check installation before use.
  • Firing pin releases when it should not (no ammunition): During Step 5 tests, if the firing pin releases when the safety is SAFE, or does not behave as specified when cycling the bolt in FIRE vs SAFE, stop using the firearm and review the installation and safety/function checks.
  • Firing pin releases during the “firm pressure” test: In Step 5f, apply firm pressure to the trigger lever in SAFE—there should be no audible clicks. If the firing pin releases after moving to FIRE, stop and correct the issue before any live-ammunition testing.
  • Grip/impact test failed (no live ammunition): Step 5g requires tapping the buttstock only without live ammunition. If the firing pin releases, do not proceed to live ammunition; stop and contact TriggerTech Support.
  • Pull-weight change exceeds guidance: If pull weight changes suddenly or exceeds 6 ons or %15 (whichever is less), stop using the trigger and contact TriggerTech Support.
