Eliot Tiny Changing Unit Instruction Manual

Important! Keep these instructions for future reference and read them thoroughly before use.
The following safety instructions are intended as a supplement to the safety information provided in the original user manual of the Eliot Tiny desk with electric height adjustment.

The changing unit may only be used for children lying in a longitudinal position with a maximum body weight of 15 kg.
The changing unit is intended for domestic indoor use only.
Use a padded changing mat measuring 75 × 75 cm and no more than 5 cm thick.
Modifications or alterations to the changing unit are not permitted.
The changing unit is designed exclusively for changing babies and small children. Any other use may result in injury or damage.
The changing unit is to be used only with the Eliot desk model “Tiny” featuring a tabletop size of 100 × 60 cm.
The attachment of the changing unit is designed for a tabletop thickness of 19 mm and ensures sufficient safety only at this size. Do not use with other tabletops!
Ensure that the changing unit is securely mounted to the desktop using all three fixing blocks.
A minimum safety distance of 20 cm must be maintained around the entire changing unit from other objects.Tepe view of access area
A safety clearance of 55 cm above and 60 cm below the changing unit must be maintained from any other objects.
Do not place the changing unit near open edges, moving parts (e.g., windows, cabinet doors), or potential fall hazards (e.g. stairs, windows, balconies).
Ensure that there are no open flames or strong heat sources (e.g. electric heaters, gas-powered stoves) in the immediate vicinity of the changing unit. Risk of fire and burns!
After adjusting the appropriate height, disconnect the table from the power supply. Warning: risk of electric shock!
The power cable must be properly coiled and stored in the net beneath the table. Ensure that no cable sections hang down and that there is no access to the power cable. Warning: risk of strangulation!
Do not adjust the height of the table with changing unit when a baby or toddler is in the immediate vicinity, on or under the table.
The changing unit must not be used if any part is defective, torn, or missing. In such cases, take the product out of service until it has been properly repaired.
Regularly inspect the changing unit for wear, cracks, or loose parts.
Additional parts or replacement parts must only be obtained from the manufacturer or supplier. Using non-original components may compromise safety.
Do not use casters when combining the table with the changing unit. Only the gliders provided may be used.

Adım 1
Turn the Eliot Tiny desk upside down and place it on the tabletop (use a protective mat!). Attach the four holders for the cable net. Two of the pre-drilled holes on the underside of the table can be used. Mark the missing holes at a distance of approx. 20 cm parallel to the two pre-drilled holes.
Adım 2
Pre-drill the two marked holes to a depth of 3 mm using a 3 mm drill bit. Do not drill through the tabletop!
Adım 3
Screw the four included cable net holders into the pre-drilled holes. Make sure the open side of each hook faces outward. The cable net will be attached to these hooks daha sonrasında.

Attach the cable net to the four hooks using the elastic loops. Loosely coil all cables leading away from the desk and place them inside the cable net.

Make sure all cables are properly secured and stored!

Assembly of the Changing Unit

Adım 1
Join them together using the wooden dowels to create the frame of the changing unit. The warning label on back panel D must be clearly legible and face inward.
Adım 2
Firmly screw the changing unit together using the four supplied metal screws (M5 × 40). First, attach the back panel (D) from the rear, then fasten the front panel (C) securely from above.
Adım 3
Attach the two fixing blocks to the lower rear side using the supplied screws (M5 × 20). Do not fully tighten the screws yet!

Dikkat! Only mount the two rear fixing blocks. The front fixing block is to be attached after the changing unit has been positioned on the desk.

Attaching the Changing

Unit to the Desk

Adım 1
Position the changing unit centrally on the desk from the rear. The two rear fixing blocks must enclose the tabletop. Next, attach the third fixing block at the front from underneath the changing unit. Tighten all screws securely and verify that the unit is stable and does not move.Important: When fastening the screws, support the changing unit from above to ensure it does not move

After the changing unit has been securely mounted and its stability verified, the recommended changing mat may be placed inside the unit.
Adım 3
Set the desk with the changing unit to the correct ergonomic height. Disconnect the power cord and secure it properly in the cable net.

The changing mat should be hygienic and easy to wipe clean. It should be made of a soft filling material such as polyester or fleece and tested for harmful substances according to OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100.

Regularly check that all screws are securely tightened and that the changing unit cannot move.

Bakım ve Onarım

Wipe the changing unit with a soft, damp cloth and mild cleaning agent. Avoid aggressive chemicals or abrasive materials.
Regularly check that all screws and fittings are securely tightened and that the changing unit is firmly attached to the desktop.

Use this product only with the corresponding accessories.
Any modification to the product is prohibited. Anyone who uses this product daily or is responsible for its installation, service, or repair must follow these instructions carefully.
Please keep these instructions with the sit-stand desk and changing unit for future reference.

The changing unit for the height-adjustable desk Tiny is designed for use in dry indoor environments. The desk is height-adjustable and can therefore be set to an ergonomically optimal height. Any other use is at the user’s own risk.
In the event of improper use or incorrect handling of the desk with changing unit, all warranty claims shall become void, and the manufacturer assumes no liability for any resulting damage.
