The recommended schedule is to run the water pump for 3 minutes approximately every 4 hours.
The air pump should be placed next to the reservoir, but NEVER inside the water. It should remain running at all times when the system is in use to provide oxygen to plant roots.
The LED light is mounted on a convenient Yo-Yo system. Press the button on the side of the Yo-Yo to lower the light, or pull upward on the end of the Yo-Yo cord to raise it as your plants grow.
