Place the Base Station in a central location on a table or shelf, avoiding the floor or dense materials like metal. Pull the battery tab and plug the device into a power outlet using the included cord.
Press the test button on top of the sensor. The Base Station will announce 'Motion Sensor.' Leave the room for 15 seconds to allow the sensor to calibrate, then re-enter to trigger the detection alert.
On the Keypad, press the Menu button and enter your Master PIN. Navigate to System Settings, select 'WiFi', choose your network from the list, and enter your password using the keypad screen.
Turn off power to your existing doorbell at the breaker. Remove the old doorbell, thread the wires through the SimpliSafe mounting bracket, connect the wires to the terminals, and secure the device to the wall before restoring power.
