'Err' typically indicates that the scale has been overloaded beyond its maximum capacity. Remove the excess weight immediately to prevent damage. It can also appear if there is a sensor error.
To measure body fat and other composition metrics, you must stand on the scale barefoot. Ensure your feet are dry and touching the electrodes properly. If you are wearing socks or shoes, the scale will only measure weight and BMI.
Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone and you are using the Starfit app. Check that your location services are on (required for Android Bluetooth pairing). If issues persist, delete the device from the app and re-pair it.
