You can install the BTA-C5 either behind the dash by connecting to the radio harness or in the trunk/hatch using the 10-pin CD changer plug. A fully functioning 12-disc CD changer is required for the module to work.
If pressing the TAPE/AUX or CD/AUX button does nothing, try resetting your radio by disconnecting the car battery for 10 minutes. Reconnect the battery, and the AUX button should successfully activate the module.
It works in 1997-2004 C5 Corvettes equipped with the Theftlock AM/FM/CD or AM/FM/TAPE radio, provided there is a fully functioning 12-disc changer connected in the trunk or hatch.
