For many Brilliant smart lights, turn on the light at the wall switch. Within 2 seconds, press and hold the 'On' button for the desired group on the remote until the light flashes, indicating a successful connection.
To reset/undo the assignment: Disconnect the light from power for 10 seconds, turn it back on, and press the linked group button 5 times repeatedly. The light should flash to confirm the reset.
