For Intel LGA platforms, remove any double-sided tape from the provided backplate and adhere it to the back of the motherboard. Install the plastic standoffs and metal brackets, securing them with the appropriate screws. Apply thermal compound to the CPU IHS before mounting the heatsink.

Heatsink and Fan Installation:
After preparing the CPU and mounting brackets, carefully place the heatsink onto the CPU, aligning the mounting nuts with the screws on the brackets.
