3.3 Interconnection Capability

This smoke detector can be interconnected with up to 24 compatible Kidde smoke, heat, or CO alarms. When one interconnected alarm senses smoke, all connected alarms will sound, providing enhanced warning throughout your home. The red interconnect wire facilitates this feature.

The alarm will not detect smoke in this condition. To silence the end-of-life chirps for up to 3 days, press the Test/Hush button. This feature is temporary and the unit must be replaced.
