This manual provides essential information for the proper installation, operation, and maintenance of your Fluval 307 External Filter. Please read all instructions carefully before use to ensure safe and efficient operation.

4. Kurulum

- Filter Media Placement: The filter media should be placed in the baskets in a specific order for optimal filtration. Refer to the diagram below for the recommended layering of mechanical, chemical, and biological media. Ensure the EZ-Lift Media Baskets are properly seated.
- Hortum bağlantısı: Connect the ribbed hosing to the intake and output nozzles of the filter head. Securely attach the rim connectors to the aquarium rim, positioning the intake tube and output nozzle appropriately within the aquarium.
- Filtre Yerleşimi: Place the filter unit on a flat, stable surface below the aquarium's water level. Ensure there is enough space around the filter for future maintenance.

5. Kullanım Talimatları
After successful setup and priming, the filter is ready for operation.
- Açma: Plug the filter's power cord into a grounded electrical outlet. The filter will begin to operate, circulating water through the media.
- Akış Ayarı: The AquaStop valve allows for precise control over water flow. Adjust the lever on the valve to increase or decrease the flow rate as needed for your aquarium's requirements.

This is achieved through components like a precise copper wound bobbin, low wear liquid crystal polymer rotor, diamond-polished alumina shaft, sound dampening shaft support points, recalibrated impeller magnet joint, and rubber feet stabilizers.
- Enerji Verimliliği: The 07 series filters are highly energy-efficient. The Fluval 307 model operates at 15 Watts (230-240V/50Hz) or 16 Watts (120V/60Hz), minimizing electricity consumption.

6. Bakım
Regular maintenance is crucial for the longevity and optimal performance of your Fluval 307 filter. The 07 series filters are designed for reduced maintenance time and effort.
- Bağlantı Kesilmesi: Before any maintenance, unplug the filter from the power outlet. Close the AquaStop valve by pushing the lever down to stop water flow and then disconnect the hose assembly from the filter head.
- Opening the Filter: Release the Lift-Lock Motor Head Clamps on the sides of the filter to remove the motor head.
- Media Cleaning and Replacement: The EZ-Lift Media Baskets allow for easy removal of the entire media stack. Clean mechanical media (foams) regularly by rinsing them in old aquarium water to preserve beneficial bacteria. Chemical media (carbon) should be replaced every 2-4 weeks. Biological media (Biomax) should only be rinsed gently if necessary and rarely replaced.
- Impeller Maintenance: Periodically inspect and clean the impeller and impeller housing for any debris or buildup that could affect performance or cause noise.
- Yeniden montaj: After cleaning, reassemble the filter in reverse order, ensuring all baskets are correctly seated and the motor head clamps are securely fastened. Reconnect the AquaStop valve and open the lever before plugging the filter back in.
