Pil Kurulumu

The Physio Logic Digital 10 Thermometer comes with one product-specific battery included and pre-installed. If the battery needs replacement, carefully open the battery compartment located at the end opposite the tip. Insert a new battery, ensuring correct polarity, and securely close the compartment.

Initial Power-On and Unit Selection

  1. Press the power button to turn on the thermometer. A short beep will sound, and the display will show all segments briefly, followed by the last measured temperature.
  2. To switch between Fahrenheit (°F) and Celsius (°C), ensure the thermometer is off. Press and hold the power button for approximately 3 seconds until the unit changes on the display. Release the button to set the desired unit.

  2. Place the thermometer tip according to the desired measurement method:
    • Ağızdan kullanım: Place the tip under the tongue, as close to the heat pocket as possible. Keep mouth closed.
    • Axillary (Underarm) Use: Place the tip in the armpit, ensuring good skin contact. Hold arm firmly against the body.
    • Rektal Kullanım: Apply a water-soluble lubricant to the tip. Gently insert the tip no more than 1/2 inch into the rectum.
  3. Hold the thermometer in place until the peak temperature is reached, indicated by a series of beeps (approximately 10 seconds).

  5. Press the power button to turn off the thermometer, or it will automatically shut off after approximately 10 minutes of inactivity to conserve battery life.

Bakım

The thermometer is water resistant and can be easily cleaned. After each use, wipe the tip and shaft with a soft cloth dampened with isopropyl alcohol (70% concentration) or soap and water. Do not immerse the entire thermometer in water or any cleaning solution. Allow to air dry before storing.

Depolamak

Store the thermometer in its handy storage case when not in use. Keep it in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Ensure the thermometer is clean and dry before storing.

When the battery symbol appears on the display, it indicates that the battery is low and needs replacement. Refer to the 'Battery Installation' section under Setup for instructions.
