3. Kurulum
3.1 Powering the E7G
The E7G offers two methods for power supply:
- AAA Piller: Open the battery compartment and insert two (2) AAA 1.5V batteries. This option provides portability for on-the-go shooting.
- External USB Type-C Power: Connect the E7G's USB Type-C port to an external power source. This is ideal for non-stop studio work and can power the device even without batteries.

For flashes with built-in radio systems (Godox 2.4G Wireless X or Flashpoint 2.4GHz R2), ensure your flash unit is set to the appropriate receiving mode and channel/group to match the E7G. For older flashes without built-in radio systems, connect the E7G's OUT connector to the sync port of the flash unit and set the E7G to Receive mode (RX).

4.2 Transmit/Receive Mode Switching

TX mode is used when the E7G is mounted on your camera to trigger remote flashes. RX mode is used when the E7G acts as a receiver for an older flash unit or as part of a wireless shutter release system.
4.3 Adjusting Flash Power and Group Settings
The OLED screen displays data in real-time, including channel, ID number, power value, and grouping status. Use the Group buttons (A-E) to select the desired group, then turn the Dial to adjust the flash power for that specific group. This allows for individual power adjustments across multiple flash units for richer light and shadow layering.
4.4 Remote Camera Shutter Release
The E7G can be used to trigger your camera's shutter remotely:

Wired Shutter Release (One E7G):
Set one E7G to Receive mode (RX). Connect the IN port of the E7G (RX) to the shutter remote terminal on your camera using an appropriate shutter cable (sold separately). Press and hold the TEST button on the E7G (RX) to release the camera shutter.

Wireless Shutter Release (Two E7G units):
Set one E7G to Transmit mode (TX) and another to Receive mode (RX). Ensure both E7G units are set to the same channel. The E7G (RX) can be connected to the camera's shutter terminal. Press and hold the TEST button on the E7G (TX) to wirelessly release the camera shutter.
