1. Giriş

The HABOTEST HT650A/B/C Series Digital Infrared Thermometers are non-contact industrial temperature meters designed for safe and accurate surface temperature measurement. These devices utilize infrared technology to determine the temperature of an object by measuring the infrared energy emitted from its surface. They are equipped with a VA backlit screen, adjustable emissivity, a 12:1 distance-to-spot ratio, and high/low-temperature alarms, making them suitable for various industrial applications, food processing, and cable checking.

Always exercise caution when using the laser pointer. Do not point the laser directly at eyes or reflective surfaces. Keep the device out of reach of children.

4. Kurulum

4.1 Pil Kurulumu

The device is powered by 2x 1.5V AAA batteries (not included in the package).

  1. Locate the battery cover at the bottom of the handle.

Note: When the battery is low, the meter displays the battery symbol. Replace batteries promptly to ensure accurate readings.

5. Kullanım Talimatları

5.1 Temel Ölçüm

  1. Point the infrared sensor induction zone towards the target object.
  2. Press and hold the Measure trigger switch to begin measurement. The laser will activate to indicate the measurement area.

  4. Release the trigger switch to hold the current reading (Data Hold).

5.2 Sıcaklık Birimi Seçimi (°C/°F)

Press the °C/°F key to switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit temperature units.

5.3 Ayarlanabilir Emisivite

Emissivity (ε) is a measure of an object's ability to emit infrared energy. Different materials have different emissivities. For accurate measurements, adjust the emissivity setting to match the material being measured. The HT650 series allows adjustment within the range of 0.1 to 1.0.

  1. Press the MODE key until the emissivity setting (ε) is highlighted on the display.
  2. Use the ▲ and ▼ keys to adjust the emissivity value.
  3. Refer to the 'Reference Table of Infrared Radiation' for common material emissivity values.

5.4 High and Low-Temperature Alarms

The device allows you to set customizable upper and lower temperature limits. If the measured temperature exceeds these set values, a temperature difference alarm light will turn on, indicating in red.

  1. Press the MODE key repeatedly until the High (Hi) or Low (Lo) alarm setting is displayed.
  2. Use the ▲ and ▼ keys to adjust the desired alarm temperature.
  3. The alarm indicator will light up when the temperature exceeds the set limits.

5.5 Distance-to-Spot Ratio (D:S = 12:1)

The distance-to-spot ratio (D:S) indicates the size of the measurement area relative to the distance from the object. For the HT650 series, a D:S ratio of 12:1 means that at a distance of 12 units, the measurement spot diameter is 1 unit. For example, at a measurement distance of 12cm, the temperature range measured is the area of a circle with a diameter of 1cm, centered on the laser point.

A wider measurement range means that as the distance between the temperature gun and the measured object increases, the measurement area will also increase accordingly. Ensure the target area is larger than the spot size for accurate readings.

5.6 Measurement Tips

  • Water and Oil Temperature: Avoid letting smoke and water vapor come into contact with the sensing area when liquid is boiling. The recommended measurement angle is between 45° and 60° to minimize interference.
  • Industrial Equipment: Use temperature difference custom alarm prompts for quick identification of industrial equipment exceeding operational temperatures, avoiding direct contact causing burns.
  • Industrial Cable Inspection: For industrial cable heating detection, set the temperature range for an alarm beyond normal temperature to prevent electrical safety incidents.

6. Bakım

  • No display/Device not turning on: Check battery installation and ensure batteries are not depleted. Replace with fresh AAA batteries if necessary.
