1. Replace the front body controller module with a compatible part and make sure it is consistent with the vehicle’s
Auto Pilot (AP) hardware configuration, as outlined in Tables 1 and 2.

• Refer to Toolbox Article #9480157 for additional details on Model S (2021+) and Model X (2021+) controller module and AP hardware type compatibility.
• Refer to Toolbox Article #9449800 for additional details on Model 3 (2017–2023) and Model Y (2020–2024) controller module and AP hardware type compatibility.
