For most gear transmission mixers, you must stop the machine completely before changing speeds to avoid damaging the gearbox. Do not attempt to shift gears while the mixer is running.
Ensure the power is cut off and the oil has moved to a safe temperature. Remove the electric control box (do not submerge in water) if detachable, then remove the oil pot for cleaning. Wipe the heating element carefully and ensure all parts are dry before reassembly.
Check if the heating pilot lamp is on. If the machine fills but does not heat, it may be in a protection mode or require a check of the heating element or thermostat by a professional technician. Ensure the water supply pressure is within the required range (1.5-1.9 BAR).
