Most Avedio Links 1x2 splitters are designed solely to duplicate (mirror) the input signal to multiple displays simultaneously. They do not support 'Extended Desktop' mode, which would allow different content on each screen. For extended desktop functionality, your computer's video card must support individual outputs or you need a specific type of MST hub.
Screen flickering is often caused by insufficient power or poor cable quality. Ensure you have connected the provided USB power cable to a 5V 1A power adapter. Additionally, verify that you are using high-quality HDMI 2.0 (or higher) cables and that the total cable length does not exceed recommended limits (typically under 16ft/5m for 4K).
